The PDT or Photo dynamic therapy is a real simple dermatologic process, in its method and use.
The Photo Dynamic Therapy needs the conjunction of a photo sensitizing, of a light source and of a light diffuser. The photo sensitizer is excited by the light with a proper wavelength and products some reactive form of the oxygen which incorporates itself in cutaneous cells (principally the keratinocytes). These cells, once they are exposed to the light (red or blue even orange and white are possible) will be destructed by a photo chemical reaction.
The HPE system is the new generation of diodes systems for skin treatments. It use the principle of the PDT (Photo Dynamic Therapy) in order to improve damage caused by sun, to improve skin texture and aspect by a soft, efficient and painless method.
